Genius' At Life

I truly believe that Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Mick Jagger, Freddie Mercury, and Steven Tyler are/were genius' at life, and now they are probably genius' at death! There are many more in Rock and Roll history, but these artists stick out in my mind the most.

Jimi Hendix is the greatest guitarist known to man. I love his amazing riffs and his creativity in songs. They are so unique and I love all of them. If you don't like him...you have no soul.

Mick Jagger, he has the moves as most of you know by now. I hate that song "Moves Like Jagger". It gives Mick no justice. That song does gives him more publicity to younger people not aware of him, but it is just a fail. You can't write a song about a man who wants to Paint it, Black. Nor can you write it about a man who [ I ] Can't Get No Satisfaction.

Jim Morrsion. He is just spectacular. I am listening to The Doors right now and it makes my skin crawl, his voice is one of a kind. He is the best poet in history, forget Shakespear! Jim was such a great poet because he can make lyrics up on the spot. Who do you know that he do that multiple times in a row? He was very attractive, a great poet, and had sex appeal, but had a complex for self-destruction. He was always looking to see what was on the otherside. Many of his songs were about that. Now that he's there, I wonder if he's writing songs about getting back to this side.

Freddie Mercury was a ball of fire! All of his songs get me pumped up and his voice is magnificent. He had so many hits that on his greatest hits album, (the platinum addition) it has 3 discs. He has been replaced by a new man, but he will never take the spot of Freddie. He was full of energy and Queen was one of my favorite bands growing up; they will always hold a special place in my heart!

Steven Tyler has a long and successful career because of his beyond great voice and of course Aerosmith. I saw them live a year or two ago and it was the best concert I've ever gone to. He had the crowd standing the whole time and even though he is an older man, many bras were thrown up on the stage. He actually had to tell them to stop doing that. He is now on American Idol where I think he gives out helpful advice, or he did in the episode I saw!

YES! Blessthefall is going to be at Vans Warped Tour! I know I have blogged about Warped before, but this is definately a big event in my life. They just added seven new bands, but Blessthefall stood out the most. I am ridiculously excited because I have loved them for years! I loved them when they had Craig Mabbitt as their lead singer and now Beau Boken! I respect both singers because they are just so talented and each of them have only made the band prosper. They just released a new album called Awakening in October, and it is just amazing! I cannot wait to hear the new songs at Warped!
So as of now; I have three bands to meet: Sleeping with Sirens, Blessthefall, and Vampires Everywhere!
Craig with Blessthefall!<3
Beau:)

I can do this!

The Darkest Hour of my Life

The new movie "The Darkest Hour" is just terrible. The storyline is tedious and just drones on. It is about humans being attacked by invisible aliens, only detected when by electronics, in Moscow, Russia.
The acting was horrible! I love Australians, but this blonde actress' acting was unbearable. My friend's and I were constantly laughing when it was suppose to be serious. The highlight of the movie was there was a gorgeous Leonardo DiCaprio look-alike!
It was also in 3D. It made me very nauseas and the effects always flew to your right eye. It was really weird and just plain bad.
Overall, I do not recommend this movie. Do not see it!
