The Final Stretch

This is the final stretch of school and everyone is looking forward to the end. I have been ready for summer since winter like everyone else.

For the first week off, I plan to go to head to the beach and stay there. I didn't make a trip out there last summer so I have plenty of catching up to do before Marching Band.
Turkey Run is where I am headed for Memorial Day weekend to start the summer off right. I will be with my friends Adam and Amelia and they are so fun to be around.
Please let the next four days go by a little faster!

Piercings

I really want to get my nose pierced, belly-button pierced, and I my ears gauged! I think it's so cute! I should start with getting my ears pierced though...

Irony

Since I have been reading Hiroshima in English, when I saw this picture, it reminded me of it. The book, if you don't already know, is about the lives of 6 people after the explosion. In my class, someone brought up a point and said "We gave them warnings, they knew we were going to drop a bomb. They could have evacuated." My teacher replied with saying that the Japanese gave us warnings before bombing Pearl Harbor, does that still make it right? I believe it's not. When I see this picture with an atomic blast, I think of our governments trying to make peace with war. War is not the solution. Our world will never find peace with the constant violence.

SO True

This picture spoke to me. It's so true.

Hello Beautiful, Austin Carlile

I really do have an unhealthy obsession with Of Mice & Men and Austin Carlile...but what can I do? They are just so amazing. Austin is perfection. I'm so glad I saw them at Warped last year, and now again this year!

Escape The Fate Concert

Xander Bourgeois with Gabby and I :')
I went to an Escape The Fate concert a few weeks ago, and it was one of the best concerts I have ever gone to; even though it was not held at my favorite venue, which is the Vic Theatre. It was held at the House of Blues and it was general admission so naturally my whole group of friends and I picked the floor. That's where all the fun happens.
The lights started to dim and there stood Xander Bourgeois, lead singer of Secrets. The crowd went wild and so the show began. He kept asking for circle pits. That is when my friend Brittany and I started working our way up to the front. Everytime one began, more people left their spots. So we took them. One cirlce pit didn't end well because Brittany lost her footing and fell down. I couldn't get anyone to move to let her get up because the pit was starting to get really aggressive. We did finally get her up, but as a result of her being down there so long, she was kicked in the face a few times.
By the time the band Mest was over, we were up infront for The Word Alive. They are one of my favorite bands and they sound really good live. They were very energetic and Telle, the lead singer, took a picture of the crowd, later to post it on Instagram. I found out I was in the picture!
The next band on was Attack Attack! they were probably the best performance of the night. The crowd was really into it and EVERYONE on the floor was mosh pitting. My favorite song they performed was Smokahontas, in that song, Caleb Shomo had the best screams.
Finally, Escape The Fate was on and it was the greatest moment ever. Craig jumped into the crowd from the balcony and went into the crowd right by me; I held his hand for a couple mintues. The coolest part was everyone singing along and enjoying themselves. The people there are just great.

Brendan Kelly

I love Brendan Kelly. Most people know who he is, but no one knows him like me. He's the most wonderful human being I could have possibly of met. I met him at a party during the summer and his quirky personality won me over instantly. He has the cutest dimples and I love him because he doesn't care what anyone thinks about him. I try so hard to do that, but there's always something that gets to me one way or another.
The fun part about him is that he is up for anything! We just love hanging out with eachother; enjoying eachother's company. It really doesn't matter what we do, we just like to do it together.
He knows me like no one else does. I tell him everything and I don't have to worry about it getting around our group of friends.
In my opinion, one of the best parts of our friendship is that we have so much in common. For me, the reason I usually don't like people is because a musical difference. I don't mind if people don't have the same musical taste, it's just that my whole life is music and when I talk about bands or some song; that person may not understand. Not with Brendan though. Brendan has the same taste in music as me, and it's just a delight. I get to yap away about the bands I am totally obsessed with and he knows exactly what I'm talking about.
We also have the same sense of humor. We crack eachother up all the time about the most random stuff. It's wonderful and it takes all my stress away.

Brendan Kelly, my best friend that knows how to make me laugh when I cry and knows how to make me laugh so hard, I do cry.

This Reminds me of...

I was browsing the internet and I found pictures that I thought were quite interesting.
this reminds me of the concerts that unite complete strangers with the power of music

Of Mice & Men  has the best lyrics and I think everyone has written a meaningful lyric on themselves at some point.

I love Austin Carlile with a passion. He is such an inspiration to all.

This would have to be the most popular lyrics by Sleeping With Sirens. It is just so beautiful. This song is definitely one of my favorites.

Kris Humphries

He's so cute and tall!
Today I went to Chicago just for fun with my family we were just walking down the street, when all of a sudden I see an extremely tall man. I turn to my mom and say "that guy looks exactly like Kris Humphries"...and it turns out it was him! I took so many pictures and he was so down to earth and nice. Kim Kardashian made him look like a complete jerk on the show when he really isn't! I am in love with Kris. I will marry him!
I also had the privledge of meeting David Gardner who is a former basketball player! He was also extremely nice.
I just tweeted them...I hope they will remember me and re-tweet me!

Valentine's Day

Tumblr_lzc0jqrmak1qaj5jro2_250_largeValentine's Day was awesome! I went to see The Vow with my boyfriend, Nick, and we sat in these seats really close to the screen. You could see every blemish the actors had and Channing Tatum, in my opinion, isn't that hot ladies! I thought it was going to be a tear jerker but it was not. The movie was not terrible but not great..I am indifferent about it. After that Nick gave me some gifts that were just so nice! I recieved a teddy bear and I named it Eddie because Nick's middle name is Edward. I also got a balloon that says Happy Valentine's Day, some assorted chocolate (my favorite!), and some gorgeous pink roses that are now on my desk. It was so nice and it made me feel so appreciated!
I love Valentine's Day!
Happy belated Valentine's Day everyone!

Valentine's Day is Almost Here!

Tumblr_lyruesh8421r2fs0co1_500_large I just made a yummy red velvet cake! Note to self: red velvet cake may stain your teeth! Its worth it though! Now I am spreading the cake with strawberry frosting and heart-shaped sprinkles! This may very well be the best cake I have ever made.
